The Jacobite Steam Train

The Glenfinnan Viaduct can be found on the West Highland Line in Glenfinnan, at the top of Loch Shiel in the West Highlands of Scotland. Overlooking the Glenfinnan Monument and the waters of Loch Shiel, the viaduct stands 30metres high, with the 21 Arches covering a distance of 380 metres.

Twice daily the Jacobite Steam Train travels across the viaduct to the delight of dozens of train enthusiasts and film fans, as the location was used in four Harry Potter films, with the Hogwarts Express transporting the young wizard to school.
